About Church Stretton Golf Club

Church Stretton Golf Club, established in 1898, provides a golf course in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The course was designed in part by James Braid and is one of the highest in the UK, over 1,200 feet above sea level. It is open all year round due to sandy soil and good drainage. The club welcomes visitors, societies, and new members, and also has a bar and restaurant open to the local community and walkers.
