About St Laurence's Church, Ludlow

St Laurence's Church is the Parish Church of Ludlow, belonging to the Diocese of Hereford within the Church of England. It has maintained a tradition of public worship for over 800 years and welcomes all to its services. Beyond worship, the church serves the community as a venue for baptisms, marriages, and funerals, and hosts civic and community services. It also has strong links with local educational establishments. Known as the 'Cathedral of the Marches' due to its size and architectural significance, St Laurence's is open to visitors almost every day of the year and features a shop and a coffee shop. The church also hosts recitals, concerts, and other events in 'The Space', a flexible area created by the removal of pews.
