Ludlow Christmas Market 2026

All Ludlow Christmas Market dates for 2026

Ludlow Town Council's published calendar lists four Christmas markets at Castle Square, Ludlow, SY8 1AX, all from 9am to 4pm:

• Sunday 29 November 2026 (the last day of the Ludlow Winter Festival, 27–29 November)
• Thursday 3 December 2026
• Sunday 13 December 2026
• Thursday 24 December 2026 (Christmas Eve)

These are separate market days, not one continuous event. The Add to Calendar button on this page is for 3 December only.

Tickets and prices

The Castle Square Christmas market: the council does not publish a ticket or an admission price for it. It is a street market in the town square, so there is nothing to book. Check the official Ludlow Market website before travelling for any changes.

Ludlow Christmas Fair (£5): a separate indoor fair at Ludlow Racecourse, Bromfield, SY8 2BT. Monday 16 November, 6pm to 8pm, and Tuesday 17 November, 9.30am to 3.30pm. The organiser lists £5 admission and free parking. Ludlow Christmas Fair details.

Father Christmas at Ludlow Castle (£10 per child): 5–6, 12–13 and 19–20 December, in slots from 10am to 3.50pm. The castle charges £10 per child, which includes castle entry, a photo and a gift; accompanying adults need a ticket too. Meet Father Christmas at Ludlow Castle.

Is there a Ludlow Medieval Christmas Fayre in 2026?

No 2026 date has been published for the Medieval Christmas Fayre at Ludlow Castle, and the castle's own events list for this Christmas shows Father Christmas visits only. We will add the fayre if the organisers announce it. Until then, the Castle Square markets, the racecourse fair and Father Christmas at the castle are the confirmed Ludlow Christmas events.

Plan your visit

Use Castle Square, SY8 1AX, for the market. Ludlow is busy on market days in December, so allow time to park and arrive early for the best of the stalls.
